Pope John Paul II Speaks to Youth

Week Thirty-Eight

Keep up your courage! (Acts 23:11)

"As disciples and friends of Jesus, become agents of dialogue and collaboration with those who believe in God who rules the universe with infinite love." --Pope John Paul II, World Youth Day XII

Think About That

What's the Holy Father asking us to do exactly? He's asking you to talk about your faith in God and to work together with others who believe in God. Why? So that God's love can reach all people. There is no limit to the good things that can come from sharing God's love with our friends and with our community. He is asking you to be a friend of Jesus in both what you say and how you live your life.

Take Action

In your group of friends, who do you know that also believes in God? Today, get the courage to talk to that friend about God. Ask what he or she believes about God and why believing in God is important to him or her.

Say A Prayer

God, grant me the courage to talk about you with my friends. I know that good things will come from this conversation. Thank you.
