Looking for Ideas - New Website in the Works
Wait for Me, by Rebecca St. James
Dear Friends,
Hello beautiful young Catholic people of God! I hope you are cooperating with the Holy Spirit and reaching out to your peers with the truth that Jesus has given us about Real Love and Chastity. Please forgive me for not writing you in October. I was busy... getting married!!! Woo! As of October 13, 2001, I'm now Mrs. Michele Harrison! Ahhh!
I want to encourage you. For 26 years I lived a life of chastity. Now that I'm married, I can definitely say first hand... it was worth the wait! I NEVER could've chosen a more perfect husband for me on my own. For all that I've read and studied and prayed about the beauty and dignity of sexuality, I never could've imagined how good and God-glorifying it could be within the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony.
God is so good and faithful to His promise to reward us if we follow His plan! I always knew that truth in my head and in my heart, but sometimes waiting can be tiresome and discouraging, can't it? Especially when most, if not all, of your peers don't believe in waiting. You may start to feel like your crazy... or like you will never find anyone who thinks like you do.
If it is God's will for you to get married, he WILL provide a spouse of HIS choosing. It may not be according to your timing though! It's when we stop "date-hunting" and start pouring our energy into what God wants us working on during our singleness, that He will lead and guide us to our future spouse.
Be sure to check out the cool lyrics below from Wait for Me, a new song by Rebecca St. James. She got this idea from letters that she has written to her future husband (I did that too!). On behalf of all young women today, she wants to encourage the future husbands of her generation to stay sexually pure... to "wait for us."
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." (1 Timothy 4:12)
Until next month, I remain...
Your Eucharist loving, Blessed Mother petitioning, rockin' Catholic Church obeying, Pope John Paul II devotee and fellow sinner in need of God's grace and mercy,
Michele TePas

Darling did you know that I
I dream about you
Waiting for the look in your eyes
When we meet for the first time
Darling did you know that I
I pray about you
Praying that you will hold on
Keep your loving eyes only for me
I am waiting for
Praying for you darling
Wait for me too
Wait for me as I wait for you
I am waiting for
Praying for you darling
Wait for me too
Wait for me as I wait for you
Darling wait
Darling did you know
that I dream about life together
Knowing it will be forever
I'll be yours and you'll be mine
And darling when I say
Till death do us part
I'll mean it with all of my heart
Now and always faithful to you
I am waiting for
Praying for you darling
Wait for me too
Wait for me as I wait for you
I am waiting for
Praying for you darling
Wait for me too
Wait for me as I wait for you
Darling wait
Now I know you may have made mistakes
But there's forgiveness and a second chance
So wait for me darling
Wait for me
Wait for me
